Frances Thiele’s ‘In the Mood’ is a rhythmically interesting and joyful solo lever harp arrangement of this tune that was a big hit for Glenn Miller and his orchestra in 1939. This piece is playable on a fully-levered 34 string lever harp tuned in E flat major and is included in the AMEB Harp Syllabus (2020) Level 2 for Grade Seven.
